The Mastercard Cyber and Intelligence Intern program is aimed at early career talent, to help you develop skills and gain cross-functional work experience. Over a period of 10 weeks, Intern participants will learn and develop skills, and gain valuable on the job experience to jumpstart their career.

The candidate who fills this role will join us in Cyber and Intelligence (C&I), which is one of Mastercard’s fastest growing business units and is responsible for developing technologies and solutions that provide safe, secure, and frictionless interactions for Mastercard’s customers and partners.

Job Description

  • Support the office of the President for Cyber and Intelligence Solutions including preparation of materials (PowerPoint decks), collection and analysis of KPIs, and briefings
  • Partner cooperatively in a team environment to support evolution of a wide array of programs across Mastercard business
  • Perform project management duties, creating and documenting processes, developing timelines, and beyond
  • Communicate across key stakeholders to implement action plans to support the business
  • Perform desktop research to identify regional or global trends and develop key performance metrics and reporting
  • Assist with ad hoc requests, participate in special projects as required, and provide cross-functional support as needed

  • Strong analytical skills (Independently identifies issues in defined area of analysis, structures analysis with oversight, and synthesizes own analysis)
  • Strategic mindset (Support development of recommendations, and prepares and delivers presentations)
  • Strong communication skills (both verbally and written, able to synthesize messages and clearly articulate messages)
  • Self-Motivated leader who takes initiative to solve problems strategically
  • Analytical, investigative and problem-solving skills
  • Project management skills, highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment, handle multiple tasks, consistently meet established deadlines, and deliver exceptional results
  • Expert PC skills including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access; programming and coding ability a plus

What you’ll need for Summer Internship

To be available to work Full-Time between approx. Mid-June to Early-Sept 2024

A Penultimate Masters/Undergraduate Student, due to graduate between Dec-2024 and Aug-2025.

Bachelor’s degree in Business/Management/Computer Science or Engineering/Industrial Engineering/Business Informatics/MIS with a minimum predicted classification of a UK 2.1 or equivalent GPA of 3.0.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with analytical and problem-solving capability and a strong strategic & conceptual aptitude, whilst being customer centric.

Passionate to learn and seek knowledge about Business Analysis/ Payments/ Software Development Life Cycle/ Agile and Scrum.

English Language skills to a professional standard.

Arabic Language skills to a professional standard.
