Senior Business Development Manager
Identify & support identification of new business opportunities with existing and new key entities. Working with all BUs to coordinate the approach to Key Accounts. Generation of new leads and registration / account management across customers for the AM Group Commercial businesses. Supports the Group Head of Commercial Manager in ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
Principal Accountabilities: –
Performs research and analyze potentials of new business opportunities in the mentioned sectors. Identify trends and future needs in the sector.
Performs research and analyze potentials to identify better coordinated approach of all BUs.
Performs research and analyze potentials to identify the offer loopholes in the offered portfolio.
Develop and maintain relation to Key Account.
Act as door opener to new Key Accounts and create new opportunities.
Initiates, maintains, and monitors the AM Group Commercial businesses registrations with existing or new key entities. Make sure BUs are properly registered with all Key Accounts.
Developing and maintaining effective relationships with all entities of interest for the AM Commercial businesses.
Coordinates with various departments and colleagues and provide inputs to various stakeholders.
Prepares various strategies on focus entities and maintains strong and beneficial relations with key stakeholders within these entities.
Provide operational support to all processes and ensures compliance to policies and objectives.
Participates in various trade associations and evaluates and identifies new business opportunities.
Works with Group Head of Commercial to ensure strategic goals for key entities are developed and executed.
Act as an interface between to the AM Group Commercial businesses to understand requirements.
Ensures leads for new business opportunities from Group Head of Commercial and other sources are followed through to conclusion and closure.
Develops weekly/monthly updated reports.
Ensures key stakeholders are aware of regulations, changes in structure and processes to ensure optimized use of AM Group Commercial businesses.
Where requested, support Collections department with escalation of payment issues to the relevant departments.
Keep updated on pulse of the market for business development
Build synergies between businesses to help function more efficiently and improve revenue generation.
Key Performance Indicators:
In depth technical understanding of the sector beside strong relations and the ability to translate the knowledge and the relations into business opportunities.
Delivery on project timelines with agreed satisfaction levels.
Accuracy of registrations and renewals.
New business identification
Strong team worked
Overall input from key internal and external stakeholders in AM Group Commercial businesses.
Knowledge Skills and Experience:
Min. 10 years’ experience in a similar position in the Energy sector
Strategic planning and implementation ability
Engineering degree supported with an MBA
Existing network of business contacts within key entities within the UAE and key international suppliers
Good internal / external communicator being able to establish & build strong relationship
Thorough understanding of UAE Laws & regulations and Company businesses.
Effective oral and written communication skills.
Strong communication skills and persuasion ability
Ability to coordinate with no friction the interest of various BUs

Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
Self-motivated and self-directed
