For the position of Sales Manager – Powder Coatings, we are currently looking for an individual who obtains remarkable leadership, selling and negotiating skills coupled with a strong will to succeed in a highly competitive market. The holder of this position will play a crucial role in accelerating the growth in our powder business in MENA Market.

You will be based in Dubai, reporting to the General Manager – MENA and will be part of the management team of Jotun MENA. The holder of this position will have teams located in 4 different countries with an extensive travel required.

Duties and responsibilities
lead the Powder Sales by managing sales activities to ensure customer satisfaction, achieve sales target and profitability in line with Jotun’s strategic plans
Establish, implement and monitor the sales budget in assigned MENA countries by analyzing sales data and marketing trends
Manage and guide own team by motivating, delegating tasks, monitoring sales performance, ensure team members understanding of roles, objectives, tasks and expected results to achieve high business performance
Obtain necessary information concerning relevant local laws, regulations and guidelines pertaining to personnel and business
Develop and implement business growth strategies by identifying resources required in these markets, pursuing new business opportunities, searching new information with business partners, distributors and key customers in order to achieve strategic business goals and expand market share
Develop market intelligence and understanding by maintaining regular contacts and visits to key distributors /customers in order to improve competitive position in different markets
Follow up on collections and outstanding payments by coordinating with Accounts Department and customers to ensure payments are collected promptly and DSO ( Days of Sales Outstanding) targets are met

Qualifications
6 to 8 years of paints sales experience is needed; preferably into Powder Coatings Segment
People management experience is required
Bachelor’s Degree is required
