We are looking for a Reporting and Analytics Senior Analyst

Main responsibilities and accountabilities of the role

Ad Hoc and Scheduled Reports

  • Creates complex ad hoc reports, using insights from data exploration to build comprehensive reports with visualizations and insights, according to and requirements defined by Business Operations
  • Works with the various country operational business units to revive the reports and ensure a common understanding of their content, delivers metrics upon which decisions can be made
  • Works to create a ‘single source of truth;’ a dashboard that all agree is the appropriate view of their tasks so that all departments and countries are measured equally and data integrity is not questioned
  • Maintains the Operations dashboard using available tools to allow for multiple submitters but have a controlled and managed output

Communication & Stakeholder Management

  • Works to make data available and increase the stakeholders capability to interpret and use data and analytics tools effectively
  • Reaches out to stakeholder(s) to clarify requests and understand reporting requirements
  • Makes recommendations of what data should be explored and debriefs with the stakeholders to explain data insights and confirm report
  • Acts as a liaison with technical support teams to translate the business requirements into usable data sets
  • Ensures timely review with GEM South leadership to identify future business needs that requires analytical and reporting support. Recommends opportunities to improve the existing reporting
  • Acts as the responsible person for understanding historical performance trends and results

Data Management & Quality Assurance

  • Explores data within multiple files to determine trends, correlations and causal relations between variables
  • Coordination of data management, acting as a point of contact with data management teams in the Southern Europe region and globally
  • Identifying areas of anomalies and working with concerned country Operations departments for timely resolutions
  • Performs follow-up checks of data within business systems/platforms to ensure data quality and accuracy

  • Was exposed to matrix type of organization, global environments

  • Demonstrates influencing skills to achieve solutions and dealing with challenging stakeholder situations
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

Knowledge and Experience

  • 3 to 5 years of professional experience in a similar position
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English
  • Strong experience using Microsoft Power BI and preferably other BI tools like Tableau, Sisense, Looker, etc.
  • Advanced understanding of Business Intelligence
  • Strong understanding of operational KPIs and how to present them coherently
  • Advanced understanding of data extraction and analysis preferably on Oracle, Siebel and Maximo
  • Agile and Scrum knowledge
  • Good working knowledge of SQL
  • Demonstrable experience of delivering project(s) in Analytics & Reporting
  • Strong Excel Skills with other Microsoft Office Suite applications
  • Experienced in analysis of Data Centre reporting and metrics
  • Knowledge of predictive analytics, forecasting and machine learning
  • Basic coding proficiency in Clarizen is a plus
