Position Summary

Job Description and Qualifications

This position is responsible for leading the identification and development of all sale of gas/build own operate (SOG/BOO) opportunities for hydrogen mobility in the Middle East. The job holder utilizes specialized technical/product knowledge to sell and promote Air Products hydrogen offerings in the mobility sector with a focus on SOG/BOO. Capital values for these opportunities will range from $5 MM to $100 MM. In addition, the job holder is responsible for the senior level commercial interface with other stakeholders such as power companies, automotive companies and distributors, national transportation authorities, ministries and other government authorities.

Principal Duties And Responsibilities

Principle responsibilities include;
Understanding the strategic drivers for hydrogen mobility in the MEET region;
Mapping major stakeholders such as technology licensors, government organizations, fleet operators, equipment suppliers, fuel distributors, and other end users;
Understanding the decision making processes that stakeholdes apply in developing their projects;
Developing and implementing plans to ensure early engagement in target opportunities;
Tracking opportunities through various stages of development; gaining necessary internal approvals to pursue;
Coordinating internal teams to ensure preparation of quotations in a quality and timely manner;
Leading technical and commercial clarification meetings and negotiations and
Deal closure.
The role is also expected to include coordination, training and possible supervision of other local H2 mobility resources. SKILLS:
Excellent communication skills with a strong commercial ability
Product and application knowledge about the mobility sector in the MEET.
Ability to engage effectively and build credibility with a variety of external and internal stakeholders (technical, functional (e.g. finance), commercial) at a variety of levels from operational to executive management, ministerial level etc.
Strong data analysis and financial analysis capabilities
Be able to achieve high customer and client satisfaction
Be able to multitask
Self- motivated, responsible, well organized
Degree in an Engineering discipline and/or Business and five years related experience.
Previous experience in related role as a manager or lead with commercial responsibility.
