Job Overview




  • Bachelor’s Degree in Law, or a background in army, police, or investment field is preferred



  • Minimum twelve (12) years in a similar role, preferably within the Real Estate or Construction industry


Knowledge Requirements:

  • Experience in corporate communication & dealing with governmental officials
  • Knowledge in regulations & governmental processes
  • Knowledge of official local workflow and operating procedures



  • Leading the government relations division across the Group. In consultation with the Management board and executives, the job holder shall plan and execute a comprehensive, proactive government affairs strategy that advances the company’s mission and goals with local governmental officials, ministries and organizations.


Job Duties

  • Assists in the establishment of corporate strategies, policies & plans in alignment with government laws, regulations and standards
  • Develops & manages the organizational strategy for strengthening relationships with governmental officials, ministries and organizations to increase their understanding of and support for the corporate
  • Maintains and nurtures the relationships with ministries, government officials, committees, organizations and associations
  • Manages reputational risks to the company through effective governmental relationships
  • Leads analysis of proposed legal actions, determines the potential impact on the organization and develops appropriate responses
  • Monitors legal and regulatory activities to promote the company’s market position
  • Coordinates proactively with external & internal partners to ensure that the company’s rights are fully presented in order to maintain public trust and understanding
  • Represents and protects the company’s legal organizational interests
  • Monitors legal and regulatory activities regularly, advises and updates the management board about any potential official proposals or regulations to analyze the impact on the organization and maintains regular communication of any relevant governmental issues
  • Establishes a network of external resources to manage key issues in the company’s best interest
