General Trade Development Manager
Main purpose of the role
Responsible for implementing the right channel fundamentals and sales performance by category with the harmonized coverage and effective distribution drive by city by division. To work closely with the SC, Shopper Marketing and sales teams to assist in the implementation of all category plans into category action plans and schemes to provide high quality response / inputs to the Sales operations team to achieve distribution and sales target in a cost effective manner.
Leads the Van Operation Channel Planning in BPM with CCDs and ROMs.
Owns the category forecast for Retail Van Sales channels and accountable to explain changes and underpinning category dynamics. Responsible for channel and in store part of issues and opportunities (in alignment with CCD) to accelerate/fill gaps
Work Closely with the Distributor team to enhance the Field Capability Score and planning for the right routes right territories right headcounts.
Brings channel and key-customer insight on performance, highlights hotpots. Leads closure of gaps/opportunities with CCD/CD OPS.
Work Closely with the shopper marketing team to land channel shopper activity.
Leads the execution for all innovations & SM drives for Van Operation and execution, compliance and closure of the same
Owns category/channel performance vs FC and OP, Gap filling/ overdrive activities sign off, Innovations: timings, scope and volumes (with rundown plans)
Make sure of the right customer contract and customer classification.
Drive Profitable growth: responsible for developing the growth strategy of Van operation Channel by category; breaks down marketing JTBD into channel priorities for Van; provide a thorough understaning of markets and channels for relevant category and leverage this to propose ideas to fill gaps/accelerate by region growth.
TMI budget:Managing Van Operation spend by line by category. Ensure that budget and APs are raised on time and communicated to relevant department
Implements channel programs and Monitor Field Capability Score with Regional Operation Manager.
Innovations: Responsible for innovation volume buildup signoff before business case preparation. Feeds back to CCD team on 6P strategic issues and opportunities from a trade perspective.
Responsible to drive numeric and weighted distribution by monitoring and creating the right activity by region.

Distribution and retail Background
Minimum 3 years in experience FMCG Multinational or Strong Local Distribution Companies
Any Other Personal Characteristics
University Graduate with 3+ years of relevant KSA work experience
