About The Role

As Social Media Manager, you will be responsible of all aspects of the Hamad International Airport social media channels, including the key areas of corporate communications content, campaigns, promotions, monitoring, driving growth, budgeting. Acts as the focal point to ensure that the airport drives social media through the various functional departments and ensure individual departmental objectives are met.

  • Setting and delivering in line with the direction of Manager Communications & Public Relations on the overall Social Media Strategy for the airport on its Social Media channels.
  • Provide day-to-day management of social media monitoring and workflows, assist the communication and public relations by the development and the implementation of social media CRM.
  • Creating social media policies and ensuring they are rigorously applied
  • Working with industry partners such as Google, Facebook and Twitter to ensure HIA social media strategy is updated on a regular basis and reflects the latest developments in the industry.
  • Ensure that Hamad International Airport is positioned as a leader in the field of social media usage in the airline industry, and that its channels provide a five-star experience within the corporate communications sphere.


Qualifications – External

About You

  • Relevant College or University qualification to min Bachelor’s level
  • Minimum 7 years relevant experience
  • Previous experience managing social media properties for business related purposes
  • Must have worked in a head office of an international/global company before
  • Expert user of social media monitoring and engagement tools such as Radian6, Hootsuite.
