GAC Bahrain is looking for candidates for the role of Senior Sales Executive to be based in Bahrain. Could it be you?

  • Maintain existing client base and develop new clients in logistics by providing continuous and high standard of service to clients
  • Achieve sales targets both in terms of revenue and volume for logistics
  • Prepare and submit accurate revenue reports within a set time frame
  • Develop and implement sales strategy to grow revenue and select and target prospective customers
  • Execute strategy, tactics and guidelines to increase client base
  • Collaborate with local management team to resolve customer issues
  • Record information accurately and resolve problems promptly
  • Monitor and update credit limits required by existing and new clients
  • Issue Spot Credits and follow up on credit control and ageing lists in a timely manner that emphasises on ageing and payments to avoid accounting issues
  • Promote self-development, enhance market and competitor knowledge, upgrade and refresh personal capabilities through sales and product trainings

Job Requirements

  • High level of industry knowledge
  • Bahrain driving licence
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel and PowerPoint) and able to learn new software quickly
  • Minimum 3 – 4 years of experience in a similar role with 1 – 2 years local working experience
  • Excellent English communications skills
  • Prioritisation skills for daily multi-tasking between responsibilities
  • Keen attention to details for daily tasks (updating database, writing reports, communication, etc.)
  • Selling and influencing skills to convince clients to engage promoted services
  • Presentation skills for sales visits and important meetings
  • University degree
