This role provides a comprehensive and professional HR Business Partnering service to the business, providing advise and support to managers & employees regarding all HR operations, ensuring consistent execution of corporate HR policies, compliance and controls in respective area of responsibility. The HR Senior Executive is also responsible for Expat Management and benefit reporting, Payroll processing of 130 employees, HR analytics, HR reporting, Compensation & Benefits, Job Evaluations according to Mercer Methodology as well as HR Compliance.

Your Responsibilities

Business Partnering

  • Dedicated HR consultancy on all operational HR matters to assigned departments
  • Employee relations advice and support to line managers on issues including performance, absence, discipline, grievance, HR policies and procedures
  • Supporting managers with employee development, succession planning and talent retention to ensure appropriate levels of skill and knowledge are in place to meet ongoing business needs
  • Assisting in performance reviews and cross-departmental performance evaluations meetings
  • Providing end to end recruitment services to hiring managers incl. approvals, job announcements, job posting, shortlisting, screening, interviewing, job offer, as well as overall correspondence with candidates
  • Providing onboarding and where applicable relocation support and guidance to new hires;
  • Support with Global Assignee Management inclusive of arranging Look & See trips, monthly expense and benefit reporting, expat compliance requirements and expat file management

Policies & HR Compliance

  • Ensuring all HR related compliance controls are fully and timely met
  • Ensuring knowledge of relevant HR Policies within the company
  • Support Business with integrity issues, measures
  • Develop, implement and review policies and procedures to support the business areas ensuring compliance with current and forthcoming legislation
  • Managing and accompanying internal and external compliance Audits

Compensation & Benefits

  • Evaluation of job descriptions as per Mercer methodology
  • Preparation of salary files for annual merit increases
  • Calculation of annual bonus payouts
  • Preparation of salary increase and bonus letters for staff
  • Regular maintenance of internal HR Compensation & Benefits guideline
  • Preparation of Mercer Total Remuneration Survey
  • Salary & Benefit Benchmarking

Payroll Management and Administration

  • Managing and conducting Global Payroll and local Payroll process for employees across a variety of pay groups
  • Payroll data preparation and processing
  • Coordination with external payroll provider Symphony (ongoing during monthly payroll, payroll change requests, bank key renewal)
  • Benefits, leave and end of service gratuity calculations
  • Close coordination with Accounting to ensure correct data reporting
  • Continuous improvement of payroll process
  • Digital filing & management of physical personnel files (on regular basis to ensure all files are up-to-date and have all necessary documents)

HR Reporting

  • Collects and compiles HR metrics and data from a variety of sources including the human resource information system (HRIS) and payroll outputs, management and employee surveys, exit interviews, employment records and other sources.
  • Creation and maintenance of HR Dashboard on Power BI

HR Projects

  • To support local and global HR projects on an adhoc basis but also drive own projects diligently start to end
  • Continuously improve HR processes with a digital mindset in order to support HR Digital Transformation targets.

HR Data Steward

  • Provides strategic Data Governance (Operational/Daily) and acts on behalf of the Information Owner
  • Handles all topics and activities related to data management
  • Identify Risks & Opportunities for Business Process
  • Improvement by means of data management practices
  • Ensure fulfillment of policy obligations
  • Escalate data related concerns as necessary
  • Challenge the status quo for improving data quality/privacy/ security measures across all sources of data

Qualifications

Your Profile

Educational Background

  • Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business, Psychology (or related)

Technical Knowledge

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Fluency of spoken and written English language
  • German language is preferable
  • Maintain contemporary knowledge on relevant industry standards and HR trends
  • Extensive knowledge of the UAE Labor Laws
  • Computer literate, advanced knowledge of MS Office products (word, excel, powerpoint)
  • Experience in Power BI Reporting
  • HR, Payroll & Benefits Systems (e.g. HRWT)
  • Keen interest in strategy, risk management, process improvement and data & analytics
  • Knowledge in Mercer Methodology
