About the job

Working closely with the Human Capital Manager towards implementing the Human Capital agenda for MAF Lifestyle, spanning across recruitment, performance management, employee relations & engagement, retention and implementation of HC related policies and procedures, supporting the implementation of companywide HC initiatives such as digital implementation in MAF Lifestyle.

Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to the following:

Customer

  • Manage the onboarding process and ensure new joiners are oriented appropriately into Majid Al Futtaim culture and values
  • Manage disciplinary and grievance investigations and ensuring company and legal compliance throughout.
  • Responsible for advising and the execution of annual performance appraisals.
  • Monitor and track frontline individual performance and execute action based decisions in alignment with the brand heads
  • Manage offboarding process, conduct exit interviews and analyze and report exit trends.
  • Accountable for overall HC related administrative activities for MAF Lifestyle.
  • Support the HC Manager in the roll out of companywide projects ensuring appropriate engagement of the business and timely implementation.
  • Review and monitor HC related costs, gaining necessary approvals where required.
  • Ensure all HC related policies and procedures are correctly implemented and monitor business compliance.
  • Responsible for the ability to use data to support business decision.
  • Contribute and support the business in achieving the Dare Today, Change Tomorrow sustainability strategy.
  • Build strong professional relationships with all internal customers across MAF Operating Companies, Head Office functions and Store Management.
  • Support the group wide employee engagement initiatives and drive efforts towards the same within MAF Lifestyle.
  • Working with all relevant stake holders, identify, nurture and facilitate a culture of engagement.
  • Build strong relationships with external suppliers, fostering trust and promoting collaboration .
  • Support in promoting sustainability initiatives to transform the lives of the community and contribute to the net positive impact, and health and wellness.
