Contract typePermanentFull time / part timeFull timeDepartmentFinanceLocationRiyadh, Saudi ArabiaRole / Team Overview The Role The Health and Safety Officer is responsible for ensuring the health and safety of employees, residents and visitors by developing and implementing policies, procedures and programs.Key Responsibilities
- Conducting risk assessments and safety inspections
- Developing safety policies and procedures
- Providing health and safety training to employees
- Investigating accidents and incidents
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety laws and regulations
- Maintaining health and safety records
- Developing and implementing emergency response plans
- Advising management on health and safety matters
- Conducting safety audits and making recommendations for improvement
- Staying current with changes in health and safety legislation
- Actively promote and implement ESG initiatives across the compound and drive the adoption of policies and procedures and ensure these are adhered to consistently across the compound
- Ensure that the sustainability ESG agenda is fully embraced. Actively drive initiatives set by the Facilities and Senior Property Manager
- Be abreast of any new initiatives, which could improve ESG performance across the compound.
Skills, Knowledge And Experience
- Experience in property health and safety in a residential asset, conducting risk assessments and in driving and managing standards and values
- Experienced in being a support for internal team members, clients and service partners
- Have a full understanding with regards to work permits, fit outs and associated HSE concerns
- Interest in sustainability and ESG initiatives
- Excellent communication and relationship builder
- Full understanding of statutory compliance
- Qualification of NEBOSH National General certificate
- Experience working alone and as a part of an integral team to deliver the Vision and Values of Savills
- Professional, measured approach with strong work ethic
- Saudi Nationality is a requirement for this role.
