Overview

Ericsson is looking for a head of BSS Strategy Execution for Market Area Middle East and Africa (MMEA). Candidate will lead all Strategy Execution BSS initiatives within MMEA which could be Global initiatives, Market Area driven, or Unit specific. This role will also include managing the day-to-day operations of MMEA BSS. This is an individual contributor leader working across the MMEA organizational matrix including MMEA BSS, MMEA Digital Services Operations, MMEA PMO and Global BSS. Successful candidates must have deep BSS experience with strong communication and organizational skills with an ability to drive impact in a matrix organization.

What You Will Do

  • Single point of contract within MMEA BSS for Financial Planning, Forecasting and Landing
  • Manage organizational Utilization, Billability, and overall Absorption with advanced planning and drive proactive actions for cost savings and dimensioning
  • Workforce pyramid design, blended rate optimization and geographical coverage
  • Internal employee programs such as Survey improvement plans, Assessments, Competence Development, New Graduate Programs
  • Manage all delegated BSS day-to-day operations like Time Reporting, Resource Forecasting, Travel Requests, MRD Forecast, HW Forecast and mitigation, and internal reporting and presentations
  • Drive internal process improvement programs including Project CSRs, Live Node Activity and Resiliency, and Enhanced Ways of Working
  • Focal point for Global BSS and MMEA Digital Services Operations and driver of all underlying strategy execution initiative streams for MMEA BSS
  • Work with broader organization on initiatives such as Security, Automation and Industrialization, TCO reduction, Sales Push Programs, Monetize Install Base Program and Recurring SW

You Will Bring

  • University degree in Engineering/ICT, Higher university such as MSc considered a merit
  • Strong personal track record, minimum 10 years of BSS experience
  • Experienced and strong contributor in Change management, experienced in competence and knowledge management
  • Experience working for a consultancy or other professional services firm is desired
  • Excellent interpersonal, cultural, social, communication and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated leadership with high emotional intelligence and driving impact in a matrix environment
  • Track record for working in a high energy, customer-centric and performance-driven organization
  • Highly organized and able to multi-task.
  • Self-driven and proactive nature.
  • Patient and active listener.

We are reasonably flexible on location in Ericsson operated countries across MMEA (Except GCC countries).
