Job Description

Responsible to sell and distribute the products and collect the dues from the customers on time. Conduct research on the competitive practices in the market representing the organization and report to the management.
 
Operational:
  • Responsible to comply to the company’s code of conduct and reflect the organizational values in all business interactions
  • Actively engage to implement the promotional activities at the outlets supplemented by the distribution of necessary material as per plan
  • Manage the achievement of volume and value targets through sales performance with the specified prices; within the territory
  • Pursue the collection of outstandings from trade in a timely manner to maintain the prescribed debtors to sales ratio as per policy
  • Study the company’s distribution and merchandizing objectives; and ensure the products’ availability and visibility in all outlets follow the implementation strategy
  • Conduct research on the competitive practices in the market, keep abreast of the competitor activities and inform the management periodically
  • Liaise with counterparts in other divisions for information on collections
  • Ensure that the POS material/back up stock is regularly used
  • Responsible to ensure adequate market coverage as per the business development strategy while exploring to identify new potential customers in the territory and engage with them for business
  • Monitor the customers for payment issues, matters related to stocking up, and prevent loss to the organization from bad debts, selling of counterfeits and grey stocks
  • Analyze issues causing potential loss to the organization and report to the supervisor in a timely manner
Resource Control: 
  • Confirm that the vehicle is insured and registered, and look after its maintenance 
  • Responsible to effectively operate the vehicle and follow all safety regulations as per procedures
  • Liaise with the relevant internal teams for knowing the promotional plans and enforce them through effective implementation as per requirements
  • Accountable for timely delivery of stock to the respective outlets as per plan
 Administration
  • Responsible to update the details for stock and POS availability
  • Actively engage with the commercial department for sales information systems and debtors review
  • Ensure compliance to organizational policies and procedures while using commercial and sales documents as per the business requirement
Merchandising
  •  Responsible to maintain the quality for displays and adhere to the standards set out for them
  • Manage proper records pertaining to displays such as the start and end date and follow up on timely payments for incentives
  • Ensure that the stocks are re-filled in the shelves using FIFO system, monitor the rotation of stock and make sure they have adequate shelf life
  • Carry out the regular activities such as follow ups for credit notes, day to day reporting, ensure availability of promotional stock, etc
