Being an Experienced Quantity Surveyor, I am having immense knowledge in practicing standard condition of contract FIDIC and base poke contract.

Outline: Working for a multi-discipline construction consultancy offering an array of services in both the private and public sectors. Overseeing large projects for the Retail, Hospital, Universities and Hotels. Managing all on-site commercial activities and certifying the contractor interim payment application, checking the extra works and variations, and advising on any disputes that arise. Duties and Responsibilities: • Take-off quantities by using Cost x. • Preparing interim payment certificate for Contractors and other Consultants. • Reviewing of Contractors extra works and variations. • Assisting Commercial Manager in preparing monthly cost report to the Client. • Assisting in preparing monthly cashflow for the Client.
Outline: Working for an Interior fit-out construction company offering fit-out and Modification / Renovation works in both the private and public sectors. Overseeing large projects for the Retail, Banking, Hospital, Universities and Hotels. Carryout the Tender and Estimation activities and on site activities. Pre- Contract (2014 December – 2022 January): Duties and Responsibilities: • Analyzing Plans, Bills of Quantities, Specification and other project documentation in order to estimate costs. • Researching, Sourcing, Negotiating and Obtaining the best prices and quotes from Suppliers and Sub-Contractors. • Assessing the financial, technical and operational risks of the project. • Visiting project sites to gather information. • Keeping up to date with the latest regulatory and legislative requirements. • Working closely with key members of the project team and liaising with Clients and Suppliers. • Keeping detailed records and writing reports. • Quantity take-off based on Standard Method of Measurement (SMM). • Prepare and send tender clarifications. • Attending final Commercial negotiation with Client to secure the projects. • Producing estimates, budgets and cost plans. • Undertaking value engineering, comparative design studies. • Preparing bills of quantities when required. • Providing cost control during pre-contract. Post- Contract (2011 December – 2014 December): Duties and Responsibilities: • Reviewing and preparing Sub-Contractor agreements. • Claim management – Pricing/Negotiation/understandings and implementing the contract conditions. • Preparation of Sub-Contractor payment certificate. • Preparation of interim payment application. • Visit the site with Engineer and attend for the regular meetings with Client. • Cost reporting to the Management. • Reviewing and approval of Sub-Contractor claims according to Sub-Contract agreement. • Prepare the extra works and variation claims. • Preparation of final account for Sub-Contractors and Suppliers. • Assist for the material procurement. • Project cashflows liaison with finance department. • Preparing the final account to the Client.
