Business Development Specilaist will be focused on acquisition of new merchants and business partners and support in the process of launching them on the platform. A strong relationship building skill, negotiating win-win opportunities with merchants to help them grow their business on the Talabat platform is a key requirement. Additionally, the ideal candidate suggests new opportunities leveraging feedback from merchants to further improve product, system and policy offerings by Talabat to the merchant. A successful candidate for this role is a deep and analytical thinker with keen awareness on market trends, excellent communicator and strong relationship builder.

- Acquisition of new merchants and business partners and support in the process of launching them on the platform.
- Improving the merchant offering on the platform by focusing on the breadth and depth of assortment
- Liaising with different verticals such as operations, legal, finance etc for different activities
- A strong relationship building skill
- Negotiating win-win opportunities with merchants to help them grow their business on the Talabat platform.
- suggests new opportunities leveraging feedback from merchants to further improve product, system and policy offerings by Talabat to the merchant.

- Plan a portfolio of merchants in key categories and locations that align with business goals and opportunities.
- Work closely with merchants with data-driven insights to advice and align their business growth on the Talabat platform.
- Be the voice of the merchants by conducting deep analysis of issues affecting merchants business performance and suggest product and process improvements.
- Recommend actions plans for merchants by analysing data and interpret reports.
What Did We Order?
- Have familiarity with leading B2B sales generation working with both small and large customers, including project managing tender re-negotiations
- Proven track record of managing and growing complex business relationship at scale.
- Ability to develop and execute sales strategies, tactics, plans, processes, systems and programs.
- Track record of personally closing complex deals end-to-end.
- Possess a talent for responding effectively to market direction, customer needs and competitive positioning.
- Demonstrated ability to consistently close sales and generate revenues
- Strong analytical abilities, excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail, and good follow-through
