Job Description

The Business Analyst function is key to the stock and sales optimization flow in ensuring sales and profitability targets are achieved.
  • Extent: Internal (Piaget owned and operated) and external (operated by a partner)
  • Located in Richemont head office in Riyadh, reporting to the Country Manager KSA and Head of Operations MEA
  • Establishing a constant flow of quantitative and qualitative data between head office in KSA, regional operations in the UAE, and boutiques
  • Understand the dynamics of fine jewellery, high jewellery and fine watchmaking
  • Working with demand forecast, supply planning, Inventory management and sales analytics
  • Benchmarking with sister maisons and market competition

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Business Sales Analysis
  • Manage boutiques wish lists and product demand
  • Analyse sales trends and develop data dashboards to share with management, operations, and marketing teams
  • Identify trends and propose corrective measures when need be
  • Ensure all boutiques have the right product assortment as per guidelines and as per forecast
  • Provide key figures to Country Manager at each month closure
  • Coordinate with Richemont finances in terms of reporting (forecasts, landings)
Supply Planning
  • Assist boutiques in coordinating their wish lists
  • Liaise with Richemont logistics the entire supply chain from manufacture to the boutique
  • Manage timely replenishment of External boutiques
  • Sending pre-alert of shipments to partners
  • Issuing of invoices in a timely fashion
  • Manage, Train, and co-ordinate with the partners on all Booster related operations
Inventory Management
  • Prepare stock reports to track daily stock status
  • Track fulfilment rate to monitor stock availability across all networks
  • Alert on risk of shortages / overstocks on certain items
  • Manage product repairs and returns for all networks
  • Manage Stock in Consignment, and Stocks needed for Events
  • Complete missed sales opportunities report
  • Carry out stock balancing across the different stock locations when required
Other tasks
  • Management of local staff sales requests
  • Management of local staff purchase requests
  • Stock take and count during internalization of boutiques
  • Assisting boutiques during Richemont stock takes and audits

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education:
University degree

Required Experience:
4-6 years' experience in a similar role preferably in luxury goods industry

Languages Ability:
  • Fluent Arabic & English (written and spoken)
  • French is a plus.
Behavioral Traits:
Flexible, can-do attitude, ability to multitask, genuine interest in the luxury consumer brands, responsible, time-management, works well in teams, people skills, good communicator, goes the extra mile, curious and well versed in the retail industry.

Technical skills / abilities
  • Strong expertise in Excel and data analytics tools (Pivot tables, data sorting, import across platforms etc..)
  • Previous experience of working with SAP
  • Swift with numbers and data crunching
  • Solid knowledge of MS Office tools (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
